Glue Binding

Glue binding uses a layer of hot melt glue on the spine with an adhesive leather strip to create a sturdy finish.

Thermal Binding Machine

In most cases, a thermal binding machine is used to ensure an even and secure application of the adhesive. This equipment makes the binding process consistent and reliable, ideal for both small and larger volumes.

A sheet of acetate or card can be placed on the front and back to provide protection and rigidity. This not only helps safeguard the printed pages but also enhances the professional appearance of the final product.

Perfect Binding (EVA glue)

The printed stock should be less than 160gsm, with our standard for this type of binding set at 100gsm. For best results, EVA glue (Ethylene-vinyl acetate glue) is applied, as it provides flexibility and durability while allowing the book to open more comfortably without compromising strength.
